The Conference Committee invites proposals for Conference 2006 consideration. Again, this year we are placing a strong emphasis on proposals that promote skills-based, treatment focused, and hands on participation with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and research. Please submit a proposal by completing the Call for Papers 2006 and share your talents and ideas with Occupational Therapy professionals. Help us promote Occupational Therapy's "Unbridled Spirit" in Kentucky.
All proposals must be submitted electronically as an email attachment saved in Microsoft Word or rich text format by June 10, 2006. No faxes or hand-mailed proposals will be accepted. Written notification of the outcome of the review process will be emailed by June 30, 2006. Submit your completed proposal to: rhondatedwards@prodigy.net; make sure and put KOTA in the subject line or your proposal may be treated as spam and deleted. Questions can be addressed to the Program Chairperson: Rhonda Tapp Edwards, MS, OTR/L at the above email address or by phone at 270-994-7611. If you have an idea and would like to find a collaboration partner to share the presentation with, let the Program Chairperson know. The program committee will try and help you make connections. A computer and LCD projector with PowerPoint will be provided in each conference room. Further information is available on the Call for Papers 2006 form. Other presentation AV equipment can be requested on the Call for Papers 2006form.
